Appointments
- How to get an appointment
- Phone the Navan reception on 046 9051418. Standard appointments are ten minutes; special services such as long acting contraception, menopause, joint injections and minor surgery need a double appointment, so tell reception when booking.
- Out of hours
- NEDOC, 1850 777 911, when the surgery is closed. Call 999 in an emergency.
- Medical card and GP visit card
- Medical card holders are seen and have a separate, free repeat prescription form. The card does not cover driving licence or insurance forms, medico-legal reports, power of attorney, minor surgery, occupational, fitness to work or sports medicals, joint injections or ring pessary fittings; prices for these vary.
- Repeat prescriptions
- Request online through the prescriptions page (25 euro fee, free for medical card holders) or by downloading the prescription form; allow three days, and the prescription is sent to your nominated pharmacy within 48 hours.
